The common theme I’ve noticed is that people just want to be healthier! Which is awesome! The problem is, January 5th rolls around and people are already forsaking their resolutions because they’re too hard to accomplish. That’s why I’ve compiled this list of 10 easy and delicious recipes to try this year that can help kickstart your health journey and keep you on track with your goals and resolutions!

What Do I Need?
The best part of these meals is that they’re super easy to make. You can make most of them with simple ingredients around your house! As long as you have a pots and pans set, some cooking utensils, and some mixing bowls you’re good to go! Many of these meals can be made in one pot making them super easy to clean up!

5. Creamy Turmeric Cauliflower Soup
I adore this cauliflower soup recipe because it’s super creamy without a single drop of heavy cream being added to it! The cauliflower adds all the creaminess you need when you blend this soup up. Running low on time? You could definitely throw these ingredients in the crockpot in the morning to cook down and just blend when you get home before you serve!

6. Brussel Sprouts with Crispy Tempeh
This meal is so light and super healthy. I love making this meal when I’m in a rush but don’t want to eat junk. If you’re not into the alternative meat thing you could easily swap the tempeh with chicken for a similar effect. The brussel sprouts provide tons of health benefits with the added perk of low calories. You are definitely going to want to add this to your menu this week!

What I love about this recipe is you can really use any kind of fish you want. I prefer using cod or halibut because they’re not very “fishy” tasting and soak up the flavors of the pesto really well. You could certainly try this dish with salmon or other redfish as well if you’re looking for a different flavor!
